Worm gearboxes
Varvel gearboxes
Single-stage worm gearboxes with round housing RS and square version RT
Worm gearboxes RS with round housing are available in 9 sizes.
Worm gearboxes RT with square housing are available in 7 sizes.
The two types of housing allow for wide adaptability and interchangeability with the major manufacturers on the market.
These gearboxes are designed for IEC, NEMA, brushless, and stepper motors.
Motor attachment with elastic coupling, which allows and facilitates coupling with any type of motor, even non-standard ones.
Modularity of motor mounting flanges and output flanges, fitted on already assembled gearbox.
Reduction ratios range from 1/5 to 1/100.
Nominal torques range from 20 to 1680 Nm for the RS series.
Nominal torques range from 20 to 691 Nm for the RT series.
Aluminum housing up to size 85, and cast iron housing from size 110 to 150.
On demand: ATEX certification, versions with torque limiters, wormshaft with 2nd shaft end, reinforced output bearings.
Possibility to mount an independent single-stage helical gearbox FXA to increase efficiency and achieve higher performance.
Possibility to create two-stage combined gearboxes, RS/RS or RT/RT, to offer a wide range of high reduction ratios.
